A. Clinton's Dot.com false gains finally fell through, so Bush inherited a recession. recession can only be combated by the private sector, so they lowered taxes. Then we got attacked and fought 2 wars, plus the congress mandated that Bush must create a new government bureaucracy called home land security. hard to lower taxes, thereby helping people keep their jobs and pay for the war on terror that should have been fought 30 years earlier.

A. 2000s is all about trends--and lots of them. One second we're wearing leggings, the next it's skinny jeans. In the 2000s, we're moving forward with more 'out there' clothes, and taking inspiration from later generations and making it our own. Now, its really ok to wear whatever--because nowadays, everyone has their own style. I know in the 60s, versatility wasn't as big as it is now. And music is about the same. The trend would definately be rap and rock/pop (I consider those teen bands--ugh--under rock/pop). I really think music now is a watered down version of previous decades. There are no songs made today that will ever be considered classics. Another thing the 2000s will be known for? Babies. I see 'em everywhere. Apparently they'r [cont.]

A. Hell to the no. There are more and more high school students graduating now that are completely illiterate and cant perform the simplist of mathmatical problems. The teachers give them the answers so that they dont have to be held back another year, and for the rest of the credits do stupid classes like "office aid" which consists of sitting in the office doing nothing at all for a whole class period.
